Former Moors shot stopper Sheridan Martinez has today returned to Solihull from an ill-fated stint at local rivals AFC Telford.
Martinez joined Telford after impressing manager Rob Edwards at a trial in the summer but failed to make a first team appearance.
The goalkeeper, who has also had stints at Tividale, Sporting Khalsa and Bedworth is expected to be Max O’Leary’s understudy until the on-loan keeper returns to Bristol City.
As Martinez joins us, fellow keeper Charlie Bannister departs. Bannister, who came through the ranks at Aston Villa and Watford, joined the Moors from local side Kidderminster Harriers and has enjoyed a good albeit short spell in Solihull, putting in a particularly good performance in the FA Cup 1st round defeat against Wycombe Wanderers, producing many impressive stops.
