Shepherd Murombedzi has today left the Moors by mutual consent.
Murombedzi signed for the Moors under Marcus Bignot and became a favourite at Damson Park with fans, teammates and backroom staff alike.
Before joining the Moors Murombedzi had stints at Reading, Manchester United, Torquay United and Hayes and Yeading, experience that showed whenever Murombedzi donned yellow and blue.
Noted for his versatility, The Zimbabwean can play as an attacking midfielder, wing back or full back, making him a very valuable asset in Moors National League campaign last season.
‘Shep’, as he is affectionately known by the Moors faithful showed a desire to leave Solihull to be closer to his family in Oxford in December of last year, but agreed to play over the festive period to help provide the squad depth Moors manager Mark Yates needed over the festive period.
All at By The NEC wish Shep all the best for the future.
